Mark Barnes and Mike Hardy started the idea after taking a step back and re-evaluating the idea of creating their own metaverse platform, “The Mochaverse”. They realized that in order to bring people together on a platform, the participants need to feel vested and attached to the platform. The participants have to feel that they are part of a community of like-minded individuals, able to find new ways to those connected businesses, and also carve out a place of their own in the virtual world. They realized that in order to build a “world/-verse”, they first had to be successful and build a “space”. That birthed the idea for “MochaSpaces”.
